In New Delhi, a CEO of an online shopping company named Vivek Gaur was arrested by the police for involvement in cases of cheating. The arrest took place in Gurgaon, Sector 54. According to the police, Gaur's company had attracted investments from small businesses and investors in India and overseas. The company had obtained raw materials from small businesses in the Delhi-NCR area and issued checks as payment. Subsequently, the company declared itself bankrupt and ceased operations, leading to the filing of five complaints against Gaur. Police reported that in 2011, Gaur and a business partner launched an online shopping enterprise in Gurgaon focused on selling garments and accessories. Gaur served as the CEO, while his friend held the position of COO in the company.
